Huntingburg- The 2023 Huntingburg Herbstfest Queen Pageant went out with a bang on Sunday evening at Market Street Park on Sunday evening. 10 young ladies across the city competed in three competitions consisting of: Interviews, formal wear, and personal wear.

In the end, 16-year-old Kara Schmitt, a Junior at Southridge High School, was crowned the 2023 Miss Huntingburg Herbstfest Queen.

17-year-old Heather Schoenbachler, a Senior at Southridge High School, won 1st Runner Up.

Brooke Buening, a 16-year-old Junior at Southridge High School won 2nd Runner-Up.

16-year-old Annika Beard, a Junior at Southridge High School, won Miss Photogenic.

In the 2023 Miss Huntingburg Herbstfest Pre-Teen Pageant:

12-year-old Sopia DeKemper, a 7th grader at Southridge Middle School was crowned Queen.

14-year-old Lillian Thewes, a Freshman at Southridge High School, was awarded 1st Runner-Up.

13-year-old Jazmin Dubon, an 8th Grader at Southridge Middle School, took home 2nd Runner-Up. Miss Dubon was also awarded the Pre-Teen Miss Photogenic.

Congratulations to all these fine young ladies.

As a reminder, the 2023 Miss Huntingburg Herbstfest Queen Pagent will air on WTJS TV at 8 PM EST on Wednesday night, September 27th as well as, Sunday, October 1st at 3 PM EST.
