On November 15th to celebrate America Recycles Day, Kimball’s Corporate Recycling Center (in partnership with the Jasper Chamber of Commerce) held a public paper shredding day at the Recycling Center.

They had a record day in the number of participants and materials received. Eighty-One individuals dropped off paper products to be shredded during the event. A total of 5,419 pounds (2.71 tons) of paper, 205 pounds of Cardboard, and 323 pounds of magazines/newspapers were collected during the event. For a total of 5,947 pounds collected.

Assisting at the event were KII employees – Clint Buttery, Gerald Stratman, Bill Crow and Ron Rothgerber. They would also like to thank Nancy Eckerle and the Jasper Chamber of Commerce for their support of this event.

They will be working with the Chamber to schedule additional events in 2024.
