INDOT: Southwest shared that work is nearing completion just south of Birdseye on State Road 145, the roadway that collapsed unexpectedly back in February of this year.

A land slide forced the closure of the roadway earlier this year, leaving daily commuters and visitors to use alternate routes through the small Dubois County town.

INDOT: Southwest shared updated photos of this project on their social media on Tuesday morning. They say that work is expected to be completed in early September, depending on the weather.
