The Jasper Police Department has welcomed a new member to its ranks with the swearing in of Officer Daniel Moore.
Moore, who celebrated his 21st birthday on the same day as his swearing-in ceremony, has already been part of the department for two years as a telecommunicator. He is currently attending the Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Academy as part of his training to serve in his new role.
