The Southwestern Indiana Child Advocacy Centre Coalition (SWICACC) will present its sixth annual Kickback fundraising event—titled Band Together Against Child Abuse—on Friday, September 19, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Jasper River Centre. The free, all-ages music festival will feature live performances by four local bands—Jon & Stacey, Legends, Studebaker & Friends, and Akacia—with food and beverage offerings provided by local businesses.

Now established as SWICACC’s largest fundraiser of the year, the Kickback supports the organization’s mission to empower every child and community through its child advocacy center services. These centers offer trauma-focused environments with trained staff conducting specialized forensic interviews used for evidence gathering, as well as advocacy and support services for child abuse survivors and their families.

SWICACC serves children and families across southwest Indiana counties including Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Martin, Orange, Perry, and Spencer. The Coalition is actively seeking event sponsors and encourages individuals or organizations interested in supporting the cause to reach out directly to Director Tammy Lampert.

Organizers emphasize that the Kickback offers the community not only a night of live local music but also a tangible way to make an impact in the fight against child abuse. Sponsorship opportunities remain available, inviting greater participation in SWICACC’s critical work.
