The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department has arrested 21 year old Martin S. Garcia-Dixon of Jasper a second time with in the same week.
Dixon’s first arrest came after Jasper Police stopped him for failing to stop at a stop sign on Wednesday, April 26th of last week. After the intial stop Dixon’s license was found to have been labeled with a Habitual Traffic Violator Status. Police searched his vehicle and located synthetic cannabnoiods and paraphernalia. Dixon was then arrested.
The next day on Thursday, April 27th the Dubois County Sheriffs Department was contacted about an incident involving a sex offense regarding Dixon.
A deputy with the Dubois County Sheriff’s Department opened an investigation and a forensic interview took place.
It was reported that Garcia-Dixon was the suspect in two separate sexual offenses where the victim is over the age of 14, but less than 18.
Garcia-Dixon was arrested for two counts of Level 3 felony count of rape, one count Level 6 felony Criminal Confinement, Level 6 felony Sexual Battery, and a misdemeanor count of furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Deputies took Garcia-Dixon into custody at his residence the following day on Friday, April 28th.
He has made an initial court appearance in Dubois Circuit Court
