Alice M. Lueken, age 76 of Schnellville, IN, passed away at 11:59 p.m. on Monday (February 1, 2016) at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper, IN.

Alice LuekenAlice was born on November 14, 1939 in Dubois, IN to Albert and Helen (Seger) Sander.  She married Ralph Lueken on April 4, 1959 in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Dubois.  He preceded her in death on January 31, 2014.

Alice was a homemaker.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, IN, the Schnellville Extension Homemakers Club, where she served as a past president, and a past member of the Patoka Valley Quilters’ Guild.

She enjoyed sewing, making quilts, baking, playing cards, and spending time with friends and family.

Preceding her in death beside her husband were two grandsons, Nathan and Deven Lueken.

Funeral services for Alice Lueken will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday (February 5, 2016) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday (February 4, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana.
