Bobby Risley, age 55, of Velpen, passed away at 12:40 p.m. (Central time), Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.

Bobby Risley color blockHe was born October 19, 1960, in Washington, Indiana to George Buford Hewitt and Rosetta Risley. Bobby was a factory and farm worker who enjoyed attending church services in both Velpen and Petersburg. He was never married and was preceded in death by his father, George Buford Hewitt; and his stepfather, Paul Sollman, who died December 8, 2015.

Funeral services for Bobby Risley will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Pleasant Grove “Spraggins” Cemetery in Velpen. Pastor Lowell Thomas will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 10:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m., E.S.T., on Saturday, the day of the funeral. Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com
