Ora A. Jones, age 80, of Huntingburg, passed away at 3:00 a.m., Monday, February 8, 2016, at his daughter Debbie Hensley’s residence in Schnellville, Indiana.

Ora Jones new Obituary Photo558_edited-1            He was born July 16, 1935, in Martinsville, Indiana to Robert Sherman Jones and Maggie (Cox) Jones.  Ora retired from Jasper Rubber Company and enjoyed fishing.  He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Junior Jones; one grandchild, Tracy Hensley; and one great grandchild.

Freida Jones of Huntingburg, Ind.;

One daughter,

Debbie Hensley of Schnellville, Ind.;

One son,

Ronnie “Jonesy” Jones of Duff, Ind.;

His caregiver,

Poppy Hands of Taswell, Ind.;

Charity (spouse, Jay) Schaad of Mount Pleasant, Ind.;

by (3) great grandchildren and (1) great-great grandchild.

Funeral services for Ora Jones will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., onThursday, February 11, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Bethany Union Cemetery in Eckerty.  The Reverend Harold Bayer will officiate at the service.
