2 more cases in regards to Operation Double trouble are now in the books.

The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says last Thursday, 69-year old Cary Trusty of Huntingburg entered into a plea agreement in
which he agreed to plead guilty to Dealing in a Schedule II Controlled Substance, a Level 3
felony.

The agreement calls for Trusty’s sentencing of 6 years executed at the Indiana Department of Correction of which only 4 and a half will be served, followed by 3 years served on Level 1
Adult Day Reporting.

Trusty’s case is set for sentencing in the Dubois County Superior Court on May 18th at 1 pm.

Also last week, 27-year old Matthew Cronin of Tell City, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued after he failed to appear at his sentencing hearing set for April 6th.

Last Friday Cronin was sentenced as part of a plea agreement, to 4 years at the Indiana Department of Correction. Earlier he pled guilty to Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 5
felony.

The prosecutor’s office says 2 more people charged in Dubois County stemming from Operation Double Trouble who’s cases remain pending at this time include Adrienne Holmes and DeWayne Bouillon.
