Lucille M. Kuebler, age 90, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 8:00 p.m. on Monday (April 18, 2016) at home.

Lucille KueblerLucille was born on January 14, 1926 in Ireland, Indiana to Othmar and Margaret (Weidenbenner) Miller.  She married Raymond Kuebler on October 10, 1944.  He preceded her in death on September 20, 2004. 

Lucille worked at General Electric in Huntingburg, and then retired after 35 years (1954-1989) of dedicated service as a school custodian at Jasper High School.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, the Jasper D of I, St. Ann’s Society, the Singing Seniors and a former member of the Patoka Valley Quilt Club.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and fishing.

Preceding her in death are one son, Paul Kuebler, five sisters, Helen Sander, Bernice Young, Loretta Hurley,  Mildred Goodman, and Anna Frances Miller, and three brothers, Edward, Raymond, and Sylvester Miller.

Funeral services for  Lucille M. Kuebler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday (April 22, 2016), at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday (April 21, 2016) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
