Jasper’s Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center has been named as a winner of the 2016 Outstanding Patient Experience Award from Healthgrades.

Healthgrades says the hospital was recognized for their outstanding performance in the delivery of a positive experience for patients during their hospital stay. Healthgrades is the leading online resource for comprehensive information in regards to physicians and hospitals.

Healthgrades evaluated over 38 hundred hospitals that submitted at least 100 patient experience surveys to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services covering admissions from April 2014 till March of last year in order to identify hospital performance in this area.
In order to be recognized by Healthgrades, hospitals must meet eligibility requirements for consideration, which in addition to number of survey responses, includes clinical performance thresholds.

Nationally close to 3-thousand hospitals met those requirements with 448 hospitals outperforming their peers, based on their patients’ responses in order to achieve this distinction.

Memorial’s performance places them among the top 5 percent in the nation.
