The Indiana State Police troopers arrested 39 year old Michaela Jones-Besaw of Jasper during a traffic stop on Interstate #64 near Georgetown in Floyd County on Tuesday.

According to a release of information today, authorities say Riggs was the K-9 on scene who alerted officials of potential drugs inside the vehicle driven by Jones-Besaw and after a search of the vehicle, 65 used syringes were located.

Jones-Besaw was arrested and incarcerated at the Floyd County Jail on the charges of Possession of a Syringe or Hypodermic Needle and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

Throughout the week  Indiana State Police troopers have arrested various people on drug related charges after traffic stops and other investigations.
