Loretta L. Wiseman, age 61, of Birdseye, Indiana, passed away peacefully at 8:47 a.m., on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Loretta Wiseman obit pic638            She was born December 1, 1954, in Franklin, Indiana to Lester W. and Lillian (Hammond) Wright.  Loretta worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse; was a member of the Victory Worship Center in Birdseye and the Order of the Eastern Star Birdseye Chapter #590; and enjoyed taking care of her animals and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Lester E. Wright.

She is survived by:

One son and daughter-in-law,

Bradley A. and Sheila (Folz) Wiseman of Boonville, Ind.;

Two grandchildren,

Sabrina Wiseman and Alexander Wiseman both at home;

Two nieces,

Kim Wright of Birdseye, Ind.,

Sandy Gubenko of Noblesville, Ind.;

Two grand nieces,

Rachel Gubenko and Kailyn Wright;

Special friend,

Debbie Caldemeyer;

and several cousins.

Funeral services for Loretta L. Wiseman will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., onSaturday, May 7, 2016, at the Victory Worship Center in Birdseye with burial to follow at the Taswell Cemetery in Taswell, Indiana.  Pastor Jason Troop will officiate.  A prayer vigil, conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star Birdseye Chapter #590, will be held at 1:45 p.m., just prior to the start of the funeral on Saturday.

Friends may call for visitation at the Victory Worship Center in Birdseye from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m., Saturday.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.  All public visitation will be held at the church the day of the service.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Victory Worship Center in Birdseye.  Condolences may be shared online at: www.nassandson.com.
