A number of vehicle break-ins have recently taken place in the Holy Family area on Jasper’s southeast side.

Jasper Police say as of 5:30 Sunday morning, at least 5 vehicles were broken into in the area that was concentrated to Hasenour Avenue and Terrace Avenue. No word on what items may have been taken from the vehicles.

Jasper Police say in an attempt to prevent additional vehicle burgularies, they suggest folks keep their vehicles locked at all times. And also try to avoid keeping any valuable items in their vehciles.

Police say two possible suspects, males, possibly hispanic and shirtless wearing backpacks were seen on foot in the area.
