Lawrence “Larry” E. Stenftenagel, age 73, of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday (August 7, 2016) at home.

Larry StenftenagelLarry was born in Jasper, Indiana on August 5, 1943 to Roman and Lilla Mae (Hopf) Stenftenagel.

Larry was a 1961 graduate of Jasper High School.

He worked as a machinist at Dubois Machine Company for 35 years.

He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Jasper Moose.

He enjoyed computers and loved spending time with his great nieces and nephews. He liked watching baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and I.U. Basketball fan.

Preceding him in death besides his parents is one brother Ronnie Stenftenagel.

Funeral services for Lawrence “Larry” E. Stenftenagel will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday (August 11, 2016) at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. service time on Thursday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
