No one was injured in a two vehicle accident Thursday morning along US Highway 231 and Old Road 45 in Harbison Township just north of Jasper. The Dubois County Sheriff’s Department says shortly before 11 am Yesterday a pickup driven by 40-year old Christina O’Neal of Oakland City was traveling north along Highway 231 when she told deputies her attention was diverted from the roadway.

Deputies say in the meantime, another pickup driven by 56-year old Roger Villines of Ferdinand was ahead of O’Neal attempting to make a left hand turn onto Old Road 45. O’Neal told authorities she looked up and could not stop in time and rear ended Villines’ truck. 5-thousand dollars damage was reported to O’Neal’s pickup while Villines sustained 45-hundred dollars damage and no charges were filed.
