Recently the Westgate Academy conferencing and training center sponsored their 4th Annual Westgate Academy College Fair at their principal facility in Odon. High school seniors from around the area were awarded scholarships based on essay entries.
Jonathon Ritter a senior at North Daviess Jr./Sr. High School titled his essay “The Great Dilemma: World Hunger” that earned him a $1,500 scholarship from Westgate Academy. Second place was Bloomfield senior Alexandria Kilzer which earned her a $1,000 scholarship and senior Allyson Speer from North Daviess was awarded $500 for third place.
WestGate Academy first opened its doors in October 2012 and recently celebrated 4 years and WestGate@Crane Technology Park is celebrating 10 years.
Event Manager, Alexandria Jackson, says the Westgate Academy is able to function as a facility with various capacities where they are trying to make themselves available to the community as they have hosted large conferences, expos, college fairs, weddings, business meetings, and much more.

Jackson says the location has a great advantage to their goal with Interstate 69 nearby and are able to put themselves in the market to do work with Evansville, Bloomington and even Indianapolis within reach.
Jackson also spoke of Stimulus Engineering that manages the Westgate Academy conferencing and training center and plays a role of bringing customers to the area and serving their needs.
