Florence Henderson a native of Spencer County, who played Carol Brady on “The Brady Bunch” show, has died at age 82.

She was born in Dale, Indiana and then went to grade school at the Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand.

Back in 2001 Henderson made a visit to the Sisters of St. Benedict.

According to the Associated Press, Henderson’s manager says she suffered heart failure. Her publicist says Henderson died last night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
