On Friday afternoon at 1 pm Jasper Police responded to a call on East 14th and Mill Streets of a man brandishing a gun.

Upon arrival and further investigation officers arrested 28-year old Carlos Demichael Molinet of Jasper after determining that Molinet was alleged to have been arguing with subjects at a residence and then displayed a handgun and made threats. A .40 caliber handgun was recovered at the scene.

Molinet was taken to and booked into the Dubois County Security Center with a level 5 felony charge of intimidation with a deadly weapon and a level 6 felony of criminal recklessness.
