Officials with the Dubois County Emergency Management Agency say due to the threat of severe weather both today and on Wednesday, the scheduled test for all Dubois County Siren’s has been been put on hold for 48 hours.

This also includes the test that was to be conducted tomorrow by the Jasper Police Department.

Emergency Management Director Tammy Humbert says the emergency management office says the test will now be conducted this Friday March 3rd.

Humbert says the scheduled time of the test will remain the same. Jasper will conduct their test of the city’s 10 tornado warning sirens plus the cable television interrupter system at the normal time of 4 pm while the remaining sirens the remaining sirens in the county will be tested at 6 o’clock Friday evening.
