Leadership Spencer County is hosting a Community Resource Fair for all of Spencer County tomorrow, Friday, May 5th, between the hours of 2 pm and 6 pm Central time. It’s a free event being held at Chrisney 4-H Community Center with the purpose of bringing resource awareness to area residents.

There will be over 30 booths with information regarding community businesses, perspective employment opportunity’s and organizations that provide public awareness programs.

There is fun for the whole family, free snacks will be provided through the sponsorship of fellow Community Partners, National Office Furniture and Spencer County Community Foundation.

The Tri-State Food Bank will be giving a bag of groceries to families that could use some help and will also be accepting donation bag of groceries for families in need that cannot make it to the event.

The Spencer County Public Library will be giving books to families. A note to the public attending the Resource Fair, you will need to visit at least 10 booths before receiving free books and groceries.
