The Jasper Police Department is requesting assistance from the public in reference to an act of vandalism that too place over the weekend at the Jasper Youth Sports Complex along Twelfth Avenue on the city’s far south side.

Police say the vandalisim involved a banner that was hanging at the Babe Ruth baseball field they say was cut.

The incident would have occurred between the hours of 9 am and 10:30 pm Saturday.

Anyone with information regarding this vandalism is asked to call the Jasper City Police Department at 812-482-2255 or the department’s anonymous tip line at 812-
481-COPS.

A $500.00 reward is being offered in the event of an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
