A new location has been announced for the annual Autolauf which part of the Jasper Strassenfest.
This year’s lauf is set for Saturday August 5th in Jasper and is sponsored by the Jasper Rotary.
The event starts in the parking lot behind the Days Inn at 272 Brucke Strasse in Jasper. Check-in begins at 9:30 am with the first car out at 12 noon.
The Autolauf is a road rally that is open to all types of cars and motor vehicles. The event is not a race but a rally where accuracy, timing, and the best poker hand wins the event.
Participants will be given a set of clues and will travel throughout the area and receive a playing card at each of the designated check points. Entry fee is $20 per vehicle.
Cash awards of $100 each will be provided for Best Poker Hand, Best Time and Best Decorated Vehicle.
