This reminder, officials with the Jasper Street Department say they along with their contractor Pavement Solutions, will be closing several streets over the course of the next 2 weeks for Micro-surfacing.
Streets affected beginning today, Monday, September 25th include:
Sweet Gum Drive.
Sugar Pine Drive from Kluemper Road to Sunshine Drive
Sugar Pine Drive from Sunshine to West End,
1st Street from Kluemper to Sunshine.
White Oak Drive from Kluemper to Sunshine.
Scarlet Oak Drive from Kluemper to Sunshine
Lakeview Drive.
Country Crossing
Hillcrest Drive.
Hendricks Street.
Knust Street.
Walnut Street.
Forest Avenue.
7th Street from Mill to Jackson streets.
and Rolling Ridge from Highway 56 to West 15th Street.
All residents will be notified the day prior to their street being closed & will be required to have all vehicles removed from the street & their driveways no later than 7:30 that morning.
The Street Department says each street will remain closed until the surface has dried appropriately which should take approximately 5 to 6 hours depending on drying conditions.
This schedule is subject to change due to inclement weather or any other unforeseen event.
