The Latino Collaboration Table is an informal group which has been meeting to address the needs of local companies, schools and the Latino community.

Local employers and educators have expressed an interest in coming together to address the common challenges of growing and enhancing the Latino population.

Members of this committee include Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner, Dubois County Health Department Administrative Director Donna Oeding, Southridge High School Principal Chad Sickert, People Services Generalist from Jasper Engines and Transmissions Barb Hoph, Evelyn Rivas, President of ALASI and Breann Hasenour from Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

The group will be hosting a series of conversations to discuss how might services be married/matched between Dubois County employers and with what the Latino Community might want and need?

Four sessions will be held:

October 12th from 9 till 11 am for employers

October 12th from 1 till 3 pm for schools

October 13 from 9 till 11 am for employers

and October 13th from 1 till 3 pm for employers

The event will be held at the Jasper Engines Training Center in Jasper.

Each session will be limited to the first 20 registrants.

Reservations must be made by replying to barb.hopf@jasperengines.com by October 9th.
