Officials with the City of Jasper say due to inclement weather that made for not so favorable working conditions last week, Jasper Mayor Terry Seitz has given permission for East 13th Street between Vine and Leopld Streets to be closed for one more week.

The one block stretch of East 13th was shut down last week to allow safe working conditions for construction personnel performing window work on the Vine Street Lofts project at that location.

Thanks to the unfavorable weather conditions, the closure has now been extended to this Friday February 16th
