Jim Troesch, 52 of Ferdinand passed away Thursday May 17th at his home. He was born March 8, 1966 in Jasper, In. to Walter & Virlee (Waninger) Troesch. He married Jennifer L. Peters on July 16, 1994 in St. Meinrad Catholic Church.

Jim was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church, and of St. Meinrad K of C # 5599. He was a 1984 graduate of Perry Central High School and attended Oakland City University. He was employed at Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Jasper for 23 years. He enjoyed running, playing basketball with his children, attending his childrens’ sporting events and band competitions. He was an avid IU basketball fan.

Surviving are his wife, Jennifer L. Troesch and children Amy Troesch attending Ball State University.and Bryce Troesch both at home. His parents, Walter and Virlee Troesch of St. Meinrad. One brother, Steve Troesch (Kathy) of St. Meinrad, One sister, Lisa Shipman and fiancé Brett Kluemper of Dubois.

Funeral services for Jim Troesch will be held at 10:00 AM in Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church on Tuesday May 22nd with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 7 to 9:30 AM on Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
