Larry Ray Bruce, age 72, of Huntingburg, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at his residence.  He was born July 30, 1945, in Jasper, Indiana to Robert and Cordelia “Connie” (Nordhoff) Bruce.  Larry previously worked as a janitor for the Southwest Dubois County School Corporation; was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jasper; and enjoyed going to the park and watching ball games.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Linda Jackson, who passed away in 2013.

He is survived by his niece, Jennifer Merkley of Jasper; two nephews, Mickey Jackson of Huntingburg and Chris Jackson of Nashville, Tennessee; and his friend and confidant, Lester Trusty.
