Last month, troopers in Jasper District 34…

Made 134 Criminal Arrests, primarily drug related.

Made 70 Felony Arrests,

Issued 2,173 Traffic citations,

Arrested 21 Impaired Drivers,

Conducted 65 Saturation Patrols,

Investigated 255 Crashes,

Conducted 190 Rural Patrol Checks,

Over 100  School Walk-Throughs,

Held 1 OWI Checkpoint in Perry County,

Solved 10 Burglaries,

Dedicated 679 Hours to Criminal Investigations,

1,117 Criminal Patrol Hours,

And saw a Murder Suspect Convicted & Sentenced to 133 years in prison.

Meanwhile, Trooper Stinson arrested a fugitive who had been on the run for over 4 years for 13 warrants.

Drug Recognition Expert Trooper Brumett incarcerated several drug impaired drivers.

Accident Reconstructionist Troopers Ross Johnson, Andrew Watson and Detective Joshua Greer reconstructed numerous complex injury accidents.

Master Trooper Trey Lytton solved at least 7 burglaries in the Perry & Spencer County area.

And Trooper Sexton & K-9 Magill had several dozen K-9 deployments with numerous drug seizures.

The Jasper Post of the Indiana State Police serves 7 southwestern Indiana counties including Dubois, Daviess, Martin, Orange, Crawford, Perry and Spencer County.
