Jeffrey W. Huls, age 49 of Loogootee, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at the Interlake State Recreation Area in Lynnville, IN.

Jeff was born in Jasper, Indiana on March 26, 1969 to Darryl and Sara (Leinenbach) Huls.  He married Rachel Schneider-Heim on November 1, 2016 in New Orleans.

Jeff was a graduate of the IU Kelley School of Business, and was a third generation co-owner and proprietor of Dubois County Title Co., Inc in Jasper.

He enjoyed motorcycle and dirt bike riding, hiking, travel, and was devoted to his family and friends.  He was an adventurous soul.

Surviving are his wife, Rachel Huls of Loogootee, his son, Turner Huls, and step daughter, Meredith Heim, both at home, mother, Sara Pearson (Richard) of Jasper, father, Darryl Huls (LeAnne) of Jasper, sister, Kim Racey (Rod White) of Jasper.

A Celebration of Life Memorial for Jeffrey W. Huls will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Calumet Lake Pavilion in Jasper.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interlake State Recreation Area, 200 East State Road 68, Lynnville, IN, 47619.
