Lucille F. Weyer, 93 of Ferdinand, passed away Friday, October 5th at Scenic Hills Care Center in Ferdinand. Lucille was born May 10, 1925 in St. Meinrad to Jacob and Veronica (Schaeffer) Meier. She married Clarence L. Weyer on May 5, 1951 in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. Lucille was a member of Christ the King Parish, St. Ferdinand Church and its St. Anne’s Sodality. She belonged to the Ferdinand Legion Post 124 Auxiliary and the Ferdinand Community Center.  She was a former employee at Jasper Wood Products and retired from the St. Meinrad Abbey Press. She enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and following her grandchildren’s sports. Lucille is survived by her husband Clarence L. Weyer of Ferdinand; four sons, Steve (Judy) Weyer, John (Jean) Weyer and Gary (Michele) Weyer all of Ferdinand and Terry (Sue) Weyer of Troy; one brother, Jerome (Lucille) Meier of Grand Rapids, MI; nine grandchildren, Jason, Scott , Cliff, Kelly, Clarissa and Dylan Weyer, Stacy Gessner, Amanda Kemper and Shari Gress; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Knust.  Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00 AM in St. Ferdinand Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8:00 PM and Wednesday from 7-9:30 AM at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com
