Saturday morning at 6:00 A.M., Indiana State Police investigators from the Jasper Post responded to assist the Spencer County Sheriffs Department with a shooting investigation.
Several individuals were attending a holiday firework gathering near Dale when an argument occurred and a firearm was brandished at which point one adult male was shot resulting in life-threatening injuries.
The type of weapon and number of shots are still under investigation and will not be released at this time.
Investigators are also trying to determine the identity of the person/s involved.
ISP Investigators are working closely with the Spencer County Sheriffs Department and additional information will be made available as soon as possible.
