Three men were arrested in Jasper on Friday on warrants of battery.

Reports indicate that 20-year-old Austin M. Buechlein of Jasper, 20-year-old Jordan G. Brinkley of Staton, Tennessee, and 20-year-old Christopher A. Moore of Jacksonville, North Carolina were arrested. The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office was contacted Tuesday, July 2nd by a male who had reportedly been battered by Buechlien, Moore, and Brinkley at Buechlein’s residence the night of July 1st. The complainant told the police that the assault continued until he made it known that he could not breathe and his heart was hurting. The complainant then went to the hospital to be checked for injuries.

Court records show that the case includes statements by witnesses and video of the battery that was posted onto the social media platform, Snapchat.

Buechlein, Brinkley, and Moore were each charged with Level 6 felony counts of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.

All three individuals posted bond after being booked on Friday.
