Tri-Cap is helping kids in need within our community to get ready for the upcoming school year by collecting school supplies.

Items still needed include glue, folders, notebooks, colored pencils, and washable markers and paint just to name a few.

The three drop-off locations in Jasper are the Crossing near Hardee’s, Germantown across from Taco Bell, and the Tri-Cap main office.

Tri-Cap is also collecting supplies at the Huntingburg location on the corner of 4th Street and 231.

The Ferdinand office is located on the highway right across from The Wollenman House.

This school supplies collection campaign runs until August 10th, and they will still collect supplies the following week.

All supplies donations will be distributed to the Tri-Cap Head Start Program.

Here’s a complete list of supplies that are still needed:

  • Washable paint
  • Finger paints
  • Washable Markers
  • Crayons
  • Colored pencils
  • Pencils
  • Dry Erase Markers
  • Helium Tanks
  • Glue-both sticks and liquid
  • Folders
  • Spiral Notebooks
  • Batteries of various sizes
  • Paper towels
  • Kleenex
  • Arts and Craft supplies (like googly eyes, pipe cleaners, glitter, yarn, popsicle sticks, etc.)
  • Pull-ups (sizes 3T-5T)
  • Kids underwear (preschool size, for both boys and girls)
  • Construction paper
  • School Boxes
  • Kid-safe scissors (with a blunt end)
  • Stickers (various types and kinds)
  • Treasure box items (little toys and trinkets)
  • Shoebox size clear totes with lids
  • Ziplock bags (all sizes)
