With school right around the corner, many parents are wondering what after school programs exist for their kids.

The Tri-County YMCA wants to help you out.

The AfterSchool Program provides after school care for Pre-K to 5th-grade students.

Tri-County YMCA AfterSchool Director, Jami Ferguson explains what this program is all about.

In addition to this, Ferguson also says they work through a special program to ensure their snacks are healthy.

This AfterSchool has four different locations to make it more convenient for parents.

Ferdinand Elementary, Pine Ridge Elementary, Holy Trinity Central Campus, and 5th Street Elementary.

Bus transportation will be provided for Cedar Crest Students. Buses will take these students to either Pine Ridge Elementary or Ferdinand Elementary, depending on what parents prefer.

Since the Holy Trinity location fills up so fast, Ferguson says they are looking for some extra hands.

Ferguson explains what rules are in place to apply for jobs.

The AfterSchool program is Monday through Friday, August 4th to May 22 at all locations. Each day, the program starts at school dismissal until 6 pm eastern.

More information including pricing and a schedule can be found on the Tri-County YMCA website. If you have any questions, contact Jami Ferguson at 812-367-2323.
