A call about a bleeding man resulted in the arrest of Jasper man over the weekend.

Around 8:47 Saturday night, the Jasper Police Department responded to 567 Eversman Drive.

When at the scene, officers made contact with 51-year-old Terry L. Taylor, of that address, who originally said he had been stabbed at the scene by a female.

According to police, the female was detained for questioning and Taylor was transported to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center.

Police say an investigation revealed Taylor had wounded himself and threatened the female with the knife.

Taylor was booked into the Dubois County Security Center early Sunday morning on preliminary charges that include a Level 5 felony count of intimidation with a deadly weapon, and a misdemeanor count of false informing.
