A Jasper pair was taken into custody in Huntingburg last night on multiple felonies.

Around 2:30 this morning, police pulled over 23-year-old Caleb Dubon Jr. and 45-year-old Eugenia L. Neukam at the intersection of Van Buren Street and 19th Street for speeding and improper headlights.

Officials called a K-9 unit to the scene to do an open-air sniff. After the dog alerted to drugs, officers searched the vehicle.

Police report finding just over 7 grams of meth, syringes, look-a-like drugs and drug paraphernalia.

According to police, a juvenile was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident and now is in custody of her grandma.

Both Dubon and Neukam were booked into the Dubois County Security Center, and charged with possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Neukam is also charged with Neglect and Visiting a Common Nuisance. Dubon is also charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
