A Huntingburg man was arrested yesterday on an active warrant for multiple counts of child molestation and other related charges.
30-year-old Brian S. Bender is charged with eight counts of child molesting, five counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, single count of rape, dissemination of matter harmful to a minor, possession of child pornography, and attempted criminal confinement.
The Huntingburg Police Department began investigating Bender back in June, regarding allegations involving a female victim that date back about 6 years.
Bender was arrested on the active warrant on Wednesday, booked into the Dubois County Security Center, and posted bond a short time later.
