The Huntingburg Police Department is reminding residents to stay out of the Fourth Street Construction Zone on the West Side of US231.

They say that at any given time, there are multiple pieces of equipment being operated or holes are being dug in the construction zone. They remind that the barricades are there for a reason.

The Department says that if you need to cross the street, you must use the designated crosswalks at the end of each block.
