Four Dubois County non-profit groups are hosting online solicitation and grooming prevention sessions next week.

Statistics show that more than 500,000 predators are online every day. And 89% of all sexual advances towards children happen through chat rooms or instant messaging.

There are two free sessions on Wednesday, September 25th at the Huntingburg Events Center. One is from 9 am to 10:30 am and the other is from 6 pm to 7 pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

These sessions are sponsored by the Southwest Indiana Child Advocacy Coalition, Crisis Connection, Dubois County CASA, and the Dubois County Community Foundation.

Dr. Darrel Turner from Turner Forensic Psychology is the national presenter.
