An Orleans man is behind bars for child molestation.

Troopers began investigating 60-year-old William L. Sinnett on September 12th after learning about possible inappropriate or illegal conduct involving a minor in Campbellsburg.

Troopers then requested an arrest warrant for Sinnett.

Sinnett was taken into custody on Saturday, September 14th on this warrant, and charged with one count of Child Molestation, a Level 4 Felony.

This investigation is still ongoing. Sinnett was transported and remanded into the Washington County Jail without incident.
