Strong winds and heavy rain moved through the area yesterday, knocking out power to over 1,500 Dubois REC customers.

According to the Dubois REC map, all power is restored.

Strong winds also knocked down trees throughout the county.

US 231 was closed for a brief period yesterday after a tree fell onto a truck.

     

Huntingburg Police tell us the two people inside the truck were treated at the scene and released.

Central Dispatch tells us there are no trees down on roads, as of 7:15 this morning.
