Two nationally recognized speakers spoke to different county schools yesterday to tell students about their struggles with addiction.
Tim Ryan and Jennifer Gimenez are two who seemed to have it all. Ryan had large amounts of wealth and Gimenez was on the track to Hollywood Stardom. However, due to drugs and alcohol, they suffered and lost almost everything.
They spoke to the public Wednesday night in Jasper but spoke to Dubois County Schools yesterday to let their stories be heard by Middle and High School students.
Their honest stories resonated with many students, for some opening their eyes to the sheer reality of addiction.
Ryan and Gimenez travel the country as a team, telling their stories of how they were able to make it out of drug and alcohol addiction in order to help those who may be suffering.
