Paramedic in Ambulance Services, William “Bill” Luebbehusen, is the next recipient of the Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center GARDENER Award.

Luebbehusen is described as going above and beyond his normal duties, providing “a little bit” of brightness during a traumatic accident.

Memorial Hospital says they are blessed to have Luebbehusen as an employee.

The hospital created this award as a result of the internationally known DAISY Award, recognizing the super-human efforts nurses perform every day.

The hospital is fully aware that it takes an entire team to function as a health care facility.

This team doesn’t include only nurses. It also includes maintenance, billers, therapists, medical records, food service, and much more.

The GARDENER Award acknowledges those in the support staff who go above and beyond their regular call of duty.
