Have you ever wondered what winter was like for pioneers in the 1820’s?

If so, the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial has a special event where you can experience just that in the shoes of the Lincoln family.

Abraham Lincoln often read by light from the fireplace.

Everyone is invited to see what it was like, as well as enjoy activities like spinning and storytelling—all inside the cabin by candle and lamplight.

The special event takes place on December 21st at the Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial at the cabin from 5 to 8 pm.

The memorial is located right off of Indiana Highway 162 in Lincoln City.
