Friday afternoon, 41-year-old Melony Fowler was driving her moped on North Meridian Road when she ran off the road and hit a mailbox.
When Fowler struck the mailbox she lost control off her moped and crashed onto the road.
Fowler was not wearing a helmet during the accident which caused multiple head lacerations.
