Several Southern Indiana counties are no longer under a burn ban due to the recent rainfall.

Local fire chiefs lifted the bans for Daviess, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, and Perry Counties.

Knox County is still under a burn ban until further notice.

Fire Chiefs are urging residents to practice fire safety when burning.
