A Washington man is dead after a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.
45-year-old James Daniel Burchell was driving a semi-tractor-trailer southbound on State Road 161 near Holland when he left the road for unknown reasons.
The vehicle came to rest on the east side of the roadway after hitting several trees.
Burchell was the only one in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
