The first shipment of baby formula is on its way to people in Indiana. A flight from Germany with 71 thousand pounds of formula landed yesterday at Indianapolis airport. The White House says the formula should help ease the shortage in Indiana, and across the country. The Pentagon used a military plane to get the formula to Indiana because the White House says there weren’t any commercial planes available.
